PERFECT DIRTY MARTINI

PERFECT DIRTY MARTINI

Anyone who knows me, knows I live for a good dirty martini. It was one of the main things I craved during my pregnancy. No joke the minute we brought Rye home, we went and bought ingredients in order for me to make dirty martinis at home. I mean I DESERVED IT!!!!!!! That first sip was like OMG I went 9 months without you!

Even though I am a new mom and I am not going out anymore, I actually prefer to make dirty martinis at home, because there are important components to a dirty martini that make it amazing, and its the olives! I usually ask the waitress/waiter what the olives at the bar look like. I know I am strange, but its important! If they are a small its a no go. Big olives translate to me that the bar cares about dirty martinis, and in turn they will be delicious.

The other key part to a perfect dirty martini is good gin, personally I like Beefeater and the martini has to be served very cold. For a cold martini keep the gin in the freezer and you will want to have a chilled martini glass. You can either keep the glass in the freezer or do a quick chill before drinking.

I suggest drinking 1 or 2 martinis, if you drink more you will be drunnkkkkkk.
