BROILED LOBSTER TAILS

BROILED LOBSTER TAILS

A week ago I was talking to my mom and she was telling me how she had the most delicious lobster tail. My mouth was watering! Then a couple days later I saw my friend post on Snapchat that she making lobster tails. I was like thats it, I need lobster in my life!

What I like about lobster tail is that its cheaper than buying a whole lobster, and it takes little work to cook it. Pop it in the oven and broil, and voilà you get succlent lobster. Eat it with lots of butter and you won't be dissapointed.

Ingredients

4 Fresh Lobster tails, my favorite Maine lobster
butter
Salt
Freshly Ground black pepper
lemon slices

serves: 2-4

Preparation

Pre-heat the broiler

Place lobster tails on a baking sheet. With a sharp knife or kitchen shears, carefully cut top side of lobster shells lengthwise. Pull apart shells slightly, and meat is sitting on top of shell

Season meat with salt and pepper. Add small pats of butter along the lobster tail.

Broil lobster until meat is opaque and white, about 8-10 minutes.

Remove and serve immediately with melted butter and lemon. Eat on its own or serve with roasted potato or spinach or buttery spaghetti.
